Invincible (2006)

Invincible is an inspiring movie about the man Vince Papale in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is based on a true story and happened in 1976. Vince and his friends were major Philadelphia Eagles fans and went to every game. Over the past few years the team had been terrible, and the fans were very disappointed and making rude comments towards the team.
Vince was a teacher working two days a week trying to get by with very little money. He later loses his job because they no longer had money to pay him. His wife then leaves him because she doesn’t believe in him and says he’ll never be worth anything, and gets a divorce. After this, he gets a job at a local bar as a bartender and keeps busy playing football with neighbors and friends. When watching TV in the bar, him and his friends hear the new Eagle coach announce they are going to have open tryouts for the public to join NFL Team. When he try’s out the coaches take notice and to everyone’s surprise he makes the team. In an effort to turn the Eagles franchise around, he try’s his best despite the odds to become a good player. He ends up on kickoff special teams. During kickoff he run’s as fast as he can and makes it to the kickoff returner and tackles him causing a fumble. They pick it up and return it for a touchdown! This movie shows that anyone can do anything, despite the odds.
